Is framegather free to use?

Yes. Browsing spots, events, competitions, workshops and exhibitions is free and doesn't require an account. Signing in is only needed to submit a pin, propose a change, or leave a rating or comment.

Does framegather cover locations outside Sri Lanka?

Not yet — the current launch is Sri Lanka only.

How is a location added to the map?

Any signed-in user can submit a photography spot. Submissions go through automated spam screening and moderator review before they appear publicly.

What if a location's details are wrong?

Anyone can propose a change from the location's page — change proposals go through the same moderation queue as new submissions.
