Hi, I'm Janaka Perera.

I'm a software engineer by profession and a hobbyist photographer in my own time. I built framegather because I kept wishing there was one place that brought together everything a photographer needs to plan a shoot in Sri Lanka — where to go, what's happening, and when.

framegather is free to use. It isn't run by a company, a tourism board, or a camera brand — it's built and maintained by me alone, in my own time, because I think Sri Lanka's photography community deserves a good map. No hidden affiliations — just a tool made by a photographer, for photographers.
